A physical-therapist-designed 4-inch release ball for the psoas, piriformis, and deep hip rotators, the glute-area muscles that drive low-back and hip tightness.

  • Broad, sustained pressure: At 4 inches and a firm-yet-yielding density, it covers the whole muscle belly instead of a foam roller's vague spread or a lacrosse ball's sharp point.
  • Targets the deep hip & glutes: The piriformis and deep hip rotators sit deep in the glute complex and need broad pressure to let go.
  • Warm-up or standalone: A great primer before the Hip Hook, and a complete release for the glutes on its own.
  • Take it anywhere: No batteries, no charging. Toss it in a bag for the office, the gym, or a hotel.
  • Built by a physical therapist: Sized and weighted on purpose, not a generic ball.

Why it's in the Club

A foam roller can't focus. A ball is too sharp.

The piriformis, deep hip rotators, and psoas sit deep in the hip and glute complex. When they are tight, they drive low-back tension and restricted hip mobility.

These muscles need broad, sustained pressure to release, not the pinpoint poke of a small ball, and not the unfocused spread of a foam roller. The Orbit's 4-inch diameter and firm-yet-yielding density hit the precise middle: wide enough to cover the muscle, firm enough to hold real pressure through the release.

Where the Hip Hook targets with precision, the Orbit prepares and broadens. That is why it is in the Club.

How it works

Simple to use, every day.

  1. 1

    Place it

Set the Orbit under your glute or the side of your hip, where the muscle feels tight.

  2. 2

    Sink in

Lower your body weight onto it and let it spread broad, steady pressure across the muscle.

  3. 3

    Hold & breathe

Stay on each spot until the muscle softens, then move to the next.

Questions, answered.

How long until I feel a difference?

Many people feel looser after their very first session. Lasting change comes from using it a few times a week, the same way mobility builds over time.

Do I need the app?

No, but it helps. The free Aletha app shows exactly where to place the tool, how much pressure to use, and times your release. A quick-start guide is included too.

Is it supposed to hurt?

It should feel like deep, productive pressure, never sharp pain. You control how much body weight you apply, so start light and ease in.

How is this different from a foam roller?

Foam rollers and lacrosse balls cannot reach the deep muscles that drive most hip and lower-back tightness. These tools are shaped to apply sustained, targeted pressure right where a manual therapist works.

Who is it for?

Anyone with tight hips or a desk-bound lower back. It was designed by a physical therapist for at-home use. If you have an injury or a medical condition, check with your provider first.

What if it is not for me?

Returns are easy. If it is not the right fit, reach out within 60 days and we will make it right.

60-day returns

Try it at home. If it is not for you, send it back within 60 days.
