Pure Vitamin Club Goes To The Races
Since launching PURE VITAMIN CLUB in 2014, one of the great joys we have had is when we get to speak directly to our customers, and even better, when we get to meet them face to face. Because Pure Vitamin Club reaches consumers all over the U.S. and Canada, and now all of Europe and the United Kingdom, we don’t get all that many opportunities to make those face to face connections.
In 2018, we launched our Ultra Salt Electrolyte Complex, which we believe to be the best, most effective electrolyte replacement product available. Although there are many good applications for this product, it is particularly useful for endurance athletes who need to stay hydrated during events. Marathons, ultramarathons, triathlons, even 5 and 10K races, can cause you to lose electrolytes and risk hydration, particularly in hot weather, making proper electrolyte replacement essential.
It is for these two reasons – to get a chance to meet our customers face to face, and to spread the word about our Ultra Salt Electrolyte Complex, that Pure Vitamin Club will be coming to some of the biggest races and other endurance events around the U.S. Last year, in July 2018, we sponsored our first event, the notoriously difficult Badwater 135, in Death Valley, California. We got to meet every last participant, and to talk to them about their training, and how to stay hydrated using Ultra Salt. It was an incredible experience, and we learned a great deal from these elite athletes. Now, in 2019, we are putting together a calendar of events, and may just be coming to one near you!
MAY 17 – 19, 2018 – SAN FRANCISCO
First up for us will be the legendary Bay To Breakers event in beautiful San Francisco. This is one of the biggest races in the country, with over 50,000 participants, running from the San Francisco Bay, across the peninsula, to the ocean. On Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18, we will be participating at the Orig3n Health & Wellness Expo, at Pier 35, in the world famous Embarcadero. Then, on Sunday the 19th, race day, we will be at the Finish Line Festival, at Ocean Beach. At both locations, we will have a booth, and will be giving away samples and discount coupons, as well as answering any questions you may have. We will also have product for sale at special discount prices, and you will be able to enter a raffle for special prizes.
JULY 2 AND 3 – ATLANTA
We’re following up after San Francisco in beautiful Atlanta, where we will be participating in the AJC Peachtree Road Race, over the Independence Day holiday. On July 2 and July 3, we will be at the Peachtree Health & Fitness Expo, at the Georgia World Congress Center. Like in San Francisco, we will have free samples, special event-only discounts on web orders and subscriptions, and product for sale on-site. The event draws upwards of 50,000 people from all over the South, and we are excited to get a chance to meet some of our customers from this part of the country.
JULY 14 – DEATH VALLEY
Later that month, we will be back in Death Valley, California, for the Badwater 135, the toughest ultramarathon in the world. With only 100 runners, we will be meeting every single participant, and providing them with enough Ultra Salt to get through the event.
SEPTEMBER 19 AND 20 – WPAFB, DAYTON, OHIO
September will find us in Ohio, at the Air Force Marathon Sports and Fitness Expo. As at our other big events, we will be giving away free samples, have special event-only discounts, and visitors will have a chance to enter a raffle for special prizes.
In addition to these events, we will also be attending KetoCon in Austin, Texas at the end of June, and will be adding more events to our calendar over the coming weeks.
