CURRENT SELECTION

Guatemala Huehuetenango

Some people are born explorers – always searching for the new and the different, and possessing an unquenchable thirst for experiencing all the world has to offer.

Exploration can take you to the four corners of the world, or around the corner to an unknown neighborhood.

For us here at Pure Coffee Club, exploration is about experiencing the remarkable array of exotic single source coffees available from around the world, one lot at a time.

This exceptional coffee, from the Huehuetenango region of western Guatemala, is grown at altitudes of 5,000 to 6,000 feet, in ideal growing conditions.

The warm winds from the Chiapas region of Mexico protect the area from frost, allowing the higher elevation cultivation, resulting in a higher quality.

The beans used are of the Bourbon, Catuai, and Caturra varieties.

Dark cherry fruit notes combine with cocoa and almond flavors as it cools, it has a medium acidity and body, with a clean, pleasant finish.
